Appointments

Appointments are to be made no earlier than one week after intake
After the second appointment, the time limit drops from 1 hour to 30 minutes.
If a Participant is more than 10 minutes late for an appointment, it will be considered a no-call no-show, and we will not be able to see you.
Please call at least 2 hours before your appointment if you cannot make it.
With three no-call-no-shows, Participants will be unable to take advantage of 1:1 appointments and support services for 3 months. However, the participant is free to use the Computer Lab for self-service.
Participants who are inactive for more than 60 days will no longer be active within the program. If they decide to come back, they will need to re-enroll with an updated Intake Packet.

Support Services

Support Services are exclusively for participants who are actively looking for work or training.
One-way bus passes may be given on 1st day, however, for a 30-day bus pass, the participant must have three visits on three different days within 10 days.
Participants are limited to three 30-day bus passes in total.
Inactive participants who ignore attempts to communicate may not be eligible for support services.
Continuous refusal to apply for work may results in the suspension of services and appointments.

Lab Usage

No food or drinks other than water are allowed in the Computer Lab. Water must be in a closed container.
Computers are for job search-related activities. Violators of this rule will be asked to leave.
Talen and Recruitment Specialists will assist the participant as necessary, but will not do the work for them.

Conduct

Threats, insults, or sexual harassment will result in trespassing and/or Police involvement.
Showing up to appointments under the influence of drugs or alcohol will result in trespassing and/or Police involvement.
The purpose of the ECC is to help Participants become self-sufficient. This means that the Participant must put effort to learn the basic functions of a computer and the skills taught (the ECC offers free courses on Digital Literacy).
The ECC is not authorized to sign I-9 forms, file taxes, or provide notary, immigration, or legal aid.
Talent and Recruitment Specialists do not give out personal information or work outside of business hours.
Talent and Recruitment Specialists cannot give or accept gifts or favors.
The relationship between Talent and Recruitment Specialists and Participants is strictly professional. It is not allowed to invite them to recreational or religious activities or requests their social media accounts.
Talent and Recruitment Specialists are not social workers; however, we have resources for such organizations if the Participant deems it necessary.
There is no time limit for how long a participant needs the services; however, it is strongly encouraged that the Participants do not close themselves off from employment opportunities. Remember, the more limits you place on your job selection, the longer it will take.
